 The most awaited decision has finally come, and it’s in support of the cancellation of class12th board exams. After the honorable Supreme Court adjourned PIL by Advocate Mamta Sharma for two days, and asks the Attorney General for justification in support of why they can’t cancel the board exams due to the COVID situation, the final decision comes on 1st June 2021. As Exams Cancel, What Will Be The Marking Options?

Option 1- Previous Class Performances

If the board follows this option, then the final result will be prepared on the basis of the student’s performance in class 10th, 11th, and class 12th internal assessments.

Option 2 – Internal Assessments

The other option gives weightage to marks obtained by students in the class 12th internal assessments and marks obtained in their class 10th board exams.

Since the central government has instructed the board to come up with well-defined criteria, without any partiality, and in a time-bound manner.
